Elemental Update!


With the addition of elements into Totally Titled Tower Defence, there is more room for strategic tower choice & placement.

Each tower has a specified element associated with them, applied either via projectiles or as an area of effect. Elements are applied to opposing forces to give various effects, and are typically either on a timer, or applied while inside an area of effect.

Currently, the available elements are water, ice, fire, acid, electricity & ground.

Water

It's wet
  • Increases the effect of ice & electricity elements
  • Removes fire element
  • Reduces duration of acid element

Ice

  • Slows affected units, stacks the more ice is present
  • Consumes water element to increase duration of effect

Fire

  • Applies damage to units over time
  • Melts ice, turning it into water

Acid

  • Increases damage a unit receives
  • Time this effect is applied gets reduced by water

Electricity

  • Stops a unit while element is present
  • Time of effect is increased when water is present
  • Cannot be applied to units with ice present

Ground

  • Removes electricity element if it is present
  • Damage done to units hit by ground are reduced if ice is present

The elements mechanic produces a wider variety of gameplay, and as development continues the effect of these elements may change with feedback from players for a better experience.
