Upgrades have made their way in to Totally Titled Tower Defence, with your standard fire rate, damage & vision for most turrets (the cold area can only upgrade it's vision as it is an area of effect).

Another small addition is damage text when a turret hits an enemy, because who doesn't love watching the numbers get bigger as upgrades are bought!

Lastly, additional keyboard controls for faster tower placement. Numbers 1-7 select a tower to build - as opposed to having to click on the UI button - and holding shift while placing a tower leaves that tower selected for placing multiple in succession.
